THE ORIGIN OF SOUND is a journey to India, an expedition of the senses, a pilgrimage to find unstruck sound.

Or that was the first iteration.  An earnest labor of love that never quite had the opportunity to reach a larger audience, now revisited.

I always dreamed of shooting a doc feature on 16mm like the old timers. When the opportunity arrived we aquired the last 44,000 feet of discontinued Fuji Reala 500D 16mm stock left in Fuji’s soon to be shuttered LA warehouse, about a year before they stopped producing motion picture film altogether.
